This is a Walthers 920-13083 HO Amtrak Phase IV 73′ Budd Baggage Car Ready to Run #1219. Features: Available with factory printed car numbers or unnumbered with user-applied decals. Amtrak(R) began operations in May 1971 with the Phase I paint scheme introduced in 1972. 73′ Budd Baggage cars served for decades on Amtrak long distance trains. Prototypically accurate window tinting as appropriate. Modeler-installed extended drawbar included for 22″” radius curves. Factory installed grab irons. Turned RP-25 metal wheelsets. Proto MAX(TM) metal knuckle couplers. PLEASE NOTE: As these cars are the correct prototype length and feature full underbody detail to match the prototypes, a minimum 24″” radius is recommended for operation.
