Here is a Van Hobbies HO BRASS CPR 2-8-0 Steam Locomotive & Tender – Painted. Both items feature factory painted brass construction, brass trucks, knuckle couplers, and metal wheels. The locomotive is powered and features a motor.

Introduced as a relative ‘Late-comer” to the industry the 2-8-0 would quickly rise to popularity as a freight hauler during the late 19th and early 20th century with its use spanning from the US to Europe. Hailed for its versatility during its run, the 2-8-0 would serve as a heavy freight hauler for various rail-ways before eventually seeing its use wind down starting in 1915. With a handful now in museums, there is still one model still operating in Pennsylvania today!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light nicks, scratches, and minute specks of tarnish present on the locomotive and tender. Wheels show light wear from previously being ran. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. This locomotive runs but has a slight wobble on the third driver set. The original box is included along with the foam liner. The instruction manual is not included.
