Delivered in 1965, the Pullman Standard auto parts boxcar is the most prolific example of this type of freight car. It ultimately changed the face of automobile manufacturing and rail transportation. It features a full cushion underframe, separately applied door closure rods, wire grab irons, and etched end platforms, Ready to Roll sideframes, machined RP25 profile metal wheels, and McHenry scale knuckle spring couplers.
