Introduced as a relative ‘Late-comer” to the industry the 2-8-0 would quickly rise to popularity as a freight hauler the late 19th and early 20th century with its use spanning from the US to Europe. Hailed for its versatility during its run, the 2-8-0 would serve as a heavy freight hauler for various rail-ways before eventually seeing its use wind down starting in 1915. With a handful now in museums, there is still one model still operating in Pennsylvania today!

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent. The locomotive is missing the bell trim piece. These items show some scratches and spots of paint loss on the shell and chassis. These items show some signs of light previous use. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at these items.
